Model files for a Technical Report structured in sections

The file techrep.tex, to be compiled with pdflatex, should give you a basis to write a note or a draft article structured in sections.

You will need to download the logo of the Mines Nancy; indeed I will show you how to include an image in a report.

Moreover, a valuable report should present a bibliography. Please download my bibliographic style myjfm.bst and a small bibliographic database biblio.bib. With bibtex you should then obtain a fair bibliography at the end of your report.

Under LINUX the compilation of techrep.tex runs as follows:

 > pdflatex techrep
-> creates notably the files techrep.aux for cross-references and techrep.toc for the table of contents.

 > bibtex techrep
-> creates the files techrep.bbl and techrep.blg for the bibliography.

 > pdflatex techrep
-> takes the previous files into account.

 > pdflatex techrep
-> two passes are needed...

At the end you will hopefully obtain techrep.pdf !

Now, it's your turn !...

Here you will find another bibliographic database which is `turbulence' oriented : bibturbu.bib.
